CULINARY ARTS
AGES 14+
Learn how to cook dishes from all different kinds of cultures! Teaching every technique to bring any culture in to your kitchen. Diversity comes in all shapes and forms - in the Culinary Arts Program we bring Cape Verdean, Jamaican, Portuguese, Spanish, Asian, and Haitian cuisine to your pallet.
FINANCIAL LITERACY
AGES 14+
Learn how to manage your finances, start and building credit, learn about mortgage, generational wealth, and most importantly - making your money work for you and not the other way around.
Many people within our communities are missing out on great tools to make their money work for them, this can lead to a lot of missed opportunities when it comes to saving and investing in yourself. This course will help you achieve financial freedom and equip you with the tools to make your money do what you need it to do.
MUSIC & DANCE CLASSES
AGES 14+
Learn new fun and creative ways to express yourself to different cultural music styles and dances! We’re bringing you a program with several instructors from different cultural backgrounds teaching you how to move your hips to afro beats, salsa, Cape Verdean music and more!
LIFE SKILLS
AGES 14+
Course teaching basic to advanced ways to navigate yourself through life in general. This course will teach you workplace etiquette, lifestyle changes that will improve your day to day, and provide you with several tools to remain on track with your goals and life objectives.
WEBSITE DESIGN
AGES 16+
Create your own website and learn how to market products through it. A great business class for anyone looking to get into Social Media and Sales. This course will not only help you create a website but also manage it, update it, and add to it.
DJ/MUSIC MIX CLASSES
AGES 16+
Learn how to create your own music your way! This class will teach the intricacies of DJing and musical engineering. Teaching you how every machine works and how you can use the equipment to create legendary soundtracks and songs!
CLOTHING DESIGN/MANUFACTURING
AGES 16+
This course will teach you how to create, manufacture, and launch your own clothing brand! Taught by specialists in the fashion industry; this course will go over all you need to know to get your creations in the right places!
CONSTRUCTION/BUILDING CLASSES
AGES 18+
Trade course teaching students how to use tools, build, and deconstruct. This course is perfect for those going in to the Construction Industry and teaches several safety procedures, guarantees OSHA Safety Licensing, and provides a boost to get started within any construction company.
